Veterinarians educate about IVDD

Dr Woodruff teaches about IVDD

I think your literature is AMAZING!! I’m going to give it to all my susceptible breed owners and definitely use it for owners that are going through IVDD with their dog and need some guidance. I cannot do it better than you have, your brochures are complete and accurate, THANK YOU!! I’m so excited I found your site. ~Michelle Woodruff, DVM. Woodruff Vet Services

Just had a look at Dodgerslist- fabulous work! … One of the things I lecture about to veterinarians is teaching their clients how to become responsible internet surfers. I would love for every board certified surgeon and neurologist to know about your site. ~ Nancy Kay, DVM, ACVIM http://www.speakingforspot.com/blog

The brochures are very complete and will be wonderful for our clients to take home. We are currently referring them to your website, but sometimes it would be helpful to send them with the actual material. Leslie Hopkins, Neurology, LVT, Cornell University

I can’t thank you enough for all that you do! Dodgerslist is an excellent resource that I frequently send my clients to, whether it be pre-op, post-op, or medically managed cases. In this day and age of Dr. Google, I can take comfort in sending clients to your website for accurate and comprehensive information on IVDD. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Timothy Krebs, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology) ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – Los Angeles https://accessanimalhospitals.com/los-angeles/

Dodgerslist is the premier website dedicated to information about paralysis in Dachshunds. ~ Jonathan M. Levine, DVM, ACVIM Neurology, Texas A&M University

Everyday at Dogwood we see pets in pain and worried owners. With that being said we are so happy to have a wonderful resource like Dodgerslist. This group is working hard to keep owners informed, supported, and make sure you know what ALL your options are for your pet… They have been priceless to us here and to so many of our clients and clients’ pets. ~ Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center, Ann Arbor, MI http://www.dogwoodvet.net/

I want to commend you for the excellent information that you provide to pet owners. As with any topic, there is so much readily available information (bad and good) out there for people to get their hands on, so it is always great to see more reliable resources.” Christina Vitale, DVM DACVIM Neurology, Neurosurgery Certificate, SAGE Campbell Emergency Pet Care & Veterinary Specialists    http://www.sagecenters.com/

Dodgerslist volunteers help scientists.

Researchers looking into IVDD benefit from Dodgerslist’s audience.    Neurologically normal dogs were recruited from the staff, students, and neurology service clientele of the NC State Veterinary Hospital and the public via Dodgerslist (http://www.dodgerslist.com/).

Thanks for the great reference tool that is Dodgerslist. I have had many clients over the years utilize your website, and it has been a very useful tool for pre- and post-op information. Thanks again for all the hard work you have put into the site and look forward to working together to help our little friends. ~ Brett C. Wood, DVM, MS Diplomate, ACVS, Veterinary Specialists/R.E.A.C.H. of Asheville

There are definitely cases where we need to give clients more detailed information than we can provide in typical post-op or medical management home care. In these cases, especially, we would love to give clients pamphlets like these, but it would also be great in nearly every IVDD circumstance.… ~Jennifer Stewart, Neurology Department, VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center http://www.vcaspecialtyvets.com/advanced-veterinary-care-

The brochures you have created about IVDD, particularly in dachshunds, will be extremely helpful to all those pet owners with disc disease prone dogs. I appreciate greatly you urging people not to euthanize paralyzed dogs too rapidly and offering them alternatives and hope to give their dogs continued long life with good support.

I would like to thank Drs. Isaacs and Galle for their comments about chiropractic therapy. I have been “harping” on this for years, having seen all too many hopelessly paralyzed dogs resulting from chiropractic manipulations. ~ Patricia J. Luttgen, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVIM, Neurology, Retired.
