About Team Dodgerslist

Passionate Volunteers Benefit Dogs And Owners

Veterinary professionals, dog owners and Dodgerslist educate to make a difference in the effort against IVDD!

Tell every one you know about Dodgerslist. It’s a good feeling to know you may have saved a life.

Dodger

Linda Stowe’s Inspiration.

Dodger had IVDD and was euthanized because of the lack of knowledge that conservative treatment IS a viable treatment option. When I heard of this sad story, immediately Dodgerslist was born with one goal in mind— save dogs’ lives.

If I could change things…

If this List can help just one person save a Dachsie, it’s worth it. I want to thank Linda and everyone else for all the work they are doing on this project. ~ Keri Thomas, owner of Dodger,  2002

Veterinary Professionals

Owner knowledge is the key to fighting the IVDD enemy

Special thanks to all the veterinarians, specialists, physical therapists, technicians and canine trainers who advance our IVDD community’s knowledge with your articles and how-to’s plus providing answers to our questions at the Neuro Corner.

The best volunteers

Volunteers give comfort and knowledge to pet owners on the Disc Disease Care and Support Forum. Others volunteer their skills in assembling our quarterly newsletter & creating graphics.  Others work with veterinary specialists to develope IVDD educational materials for the Dodgerslist website.

MEET THE PUBLIC with Dodgerslist free cards & brochures

You are a self-starter, love to meet people. With your love of dogs, you will meet many small breeds prone to IVDD. Thank you for helping to educate those owners about the two treatments. “Putting to sleep” is not a treatment.

IVDD occurs most commonly in small breed dogs such as the Dachshund, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Toy or Miniature Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, Basset Hound, Chihuahua, French Bulldog, and Beagle.

Don’t leave home without some cards! Today, order your free cards and brochures!

Pet owners share DL printed material with their vet, at pet events and where ever they may meet breeds prone to IVDD.
